Bianca de Nevada Awake

I am reading Gregory Maguire's "Mirror Mirror" and yesterday I read to the chapter where Bianca de Navada wakes to meet six of the dwarves after her long sleep in the underground abode of these creatures that live in the woods by Montefiore.
I watercolored this picture during my lunch break at work because I really like the image Maguire painted in words at this chapter. He is more than talented in writing and I was very interested in the strange dwarves in his revamped Fairy Tale of Snow White.
I love Maguire's style of writing and I don't paint often...or often enough....so that was quite an interesting chapter and I am definately intrigued enough by this book to savor finishing it by donating a lunch to painting this picture.
I might stuff it into the book at that very page and leave it for another to find when I set it back to the shelves.
